I'm playing at The Wheelhouse in Asheville 5 - 7pm, 225 Coxe Ave, this Tuesay, March 10th. It's a cool little spot. Small stage. Great cocktails. South Slope area. See you there.

Had a great turnout for the show at Black Mountain, thank you everyone who came. This next one is a little different. Wheelhouse is a brand new coffee/bar/music spot in Asheville that is very cool and tiny. No amplification needed, so it will be intimate.


I always knew this day would come.
A client of my wife's, for a lark, used some sort of AI app to redo her website. And so my wife uploaded stevesilvermusic to see what it could do. The photos look great. They're not actually of me, and each Steve Silver is a different person, but they're all so much younger than I am. That's a plus. Second, there are a dozen new titles of songs that I've never even written. Boom, just like that. And finally, most importantly, my schedule of upcoming shows is simply spectacu

"Well, that was terrifying..."
That was the subject line of a Facebook entry I made in 2014, when I used to commute from Evanston to Detroit every week, leaving Detroit on Friday to spend time with the family, then returning Sunday night. It continued: Drove in from Chicago to Detroit last night. Checked the Weather Channel several times before I left. All the warnings were about a "chill." Nothing about a blizzard which is what I encountered almost as soon as I got on I94. Left at 7:30 pm, got here at 3:3

Last minute decision to play the open mic here. Hoping afterwards the car can make it up our driveway. Spun a little last night.
